Lubbock’s known for their low cost of living and with that brings lower rental rates for both residential and commercial space. Since we’re addressing business in Lubbock, commercial rent is what’s so appealing to small businesses owners looking to open a storefront for their business.  As commercial rent goes up in many parts of the country, it forces small business owners to make the hard decision to close down and set-up-shop elsewhere.

Lubbock’s Central Location

Whether your in the local community or have services that extend beyond the borders of Texas, Lubbock’s central location is great for any business.  Having a central location has many benefits such as shipping, travel and also time zone considerations.   Have you ever lived on the east coast and did business with someone on the west coast? Being centrally located definitely makes it easier to communicate with others that live and work in other parts of the country.

Lubbock’s Pro-Business Iniatives

A big part of start-up business success is the economic and political climate in the city you’re in. A city that is pro-business, like Lubbock, will enable you to focus on the growth of your business without worrying about the politics that can effect your business negatively.  It’s not only Lubbock that’s pro-business, the State of Texas is very business friendly, removing many of the hurdles that other states have you jump through to start a business.
